So excited that Linda is back hosting another Compendium of Curiosities Challenge based on Vol.2 of the fun book by Tim Holtz! I loved working through all the techniques in Vol.1 and am excited to do it again. The first challenge is from page 66 - Custom Foam Stamps and here's my tag made using my custom stamp from the spikey flower of the tattered florals die. I stamped it on a tag colored with antique linen and weather wood stains and a subtle French script stamp from Red Lead. I doodled the flowers over the stamping and added book text leaves and lace for the stems, both of which were colored with Glimmer Mist.
Did any of you take Tim Holtz's Creative Chemistry 101 at Online Card Classes? So much fun!!!
Here are almost all of my tags from the class (still have 3 to complete) - I've been practicing his fun techniques and am all warmed up to work on the ones in the new book!

What a great collection of tags! Love the stem in particular on your first flower one
I love how you doodled around your stamping! Great tag.
Penny, your tags are like a treasure trove of beauty, and your piece for the first CC2C is magnificent! The doodling adds so much to this technique-- absolutely brilliant work (but then, you work always is!).
Thanks for joining in!
Great creation, Penny! I'm still trying to decide if I'll be taking these challenges since I've started a new photo year-long "creativity" course. LOVE all your tags from Creative Chemistry. I completed that class, too..although I had to skip the Distress Markers tag and the stamp-n-felt one (I have some of the felt now!).
Fabulous, and I love all your tags, so colourful

Love your CCII tag Penny - the doodling around your stamp is fantastic.
Love all your tags too, the course was great and it was so good to go back over some of the techniques again with new ideas.

Fantastic! Good on you!
wow - these tags are gorgeous!!!
A fabulous collection of tags. I had to of course zoom in on the one with the dressform, love the colours but also the beautiful batik style of the deep blue tag (two to the left of the dressform).
