Here's my ATC for the Stripes challenge at Created Byhand. The background ticking stripe stamp is from B Line Designs and the image is a stamp from Cowgirl Blues by Oxford Impressions . The ribbon slide is from Maya Road - found it while organizing this past week - so much fun finding things you had forgotten about!

I absolutely love photographic rubber stamps and if you do too, check out the new blog for Stamp Francisco for a great giveaway on February 27th that includes some of their photo stamps. Just post your comment on their February 19th blog post here to enter. Above are two collages I did to use their stamps - I think the images are so striking that you can quickly create a beautiful piece with just a little embellishing. I think the stamps also appeal to me because so many use images from the turn of the century - my favorite era! If you'd like even more inspiration check out samples by Audrey Hernandez on her blog here - what a talented artist and some really creative ideas all with one photo stamp.
For this week's challenge at Art Creations Friday, I made a 4x4. This was such a lovely image - all that gorgeous hair!! I was playing with my Cricut a lot this weekend and found this fun paper frame to fit around the oval shape of the picture.

I've been wanting to try a moo-sized collage so for the Make a Moo or Two Challenge I made three. I was intrigued with the Marie Antoinette theme because that's the new stamp sheet's theme at Oxford Impressions. So to get myself in a french frame of mind, I tried out this format. My images are from Digital Collage Sheets.
This is my collage for Art Creations Friday. I loved the colors of this background - it made me think of water and swimming - even though all we've seen here for months is ice and snow! I stamped on metal and embossed the top and bottom edge. Stamps: The Queen's Dresser Drawers and Stamper's Anonymous.
Here's a tag for the gold challenge at Created Byhand. I thought I'd use a piece of gold metal and emboss it. I stamped the Quietfire Designs flourish on the back and then embossed it using a stylus. For other gold bits there are heart eyelets and snaps.

Here's my project for Art Creations Friday. My background is distress inks on watercolor paper overstamped with a terrific lily print by Crafty Individuals. I put the same distress inks on the ribbon flowers - it worked beautifully there and was something I hadn't tried before. I thought 'hope' was a good word to choose to go with the expression on her face.
Here's my project for this week's challenge at Created Byhand. I used an Oxford Impressions stamp for my main flower image, spritzed it with water and colored it with watercolor pencils, lightly spritzed it again and then stamped it. I love the effect it creates. The sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado and the borderstamp on top is from Autumn Leaves.

Here's my 4x4 for the Theme Thursday Challenge. I think I was inspired by this week's weather. I was reminded of how fun it was to have school cancelled and have a snow day. It sure isn't fun to grow up and have to go to work when all the schools in your area are called off though. My image is from Lisa's Altered Art. I wanted her to be checking outside the window to see what it's like outside - she's ready with her scarf if she finds the snow to her liking!
