Another week of Compendium of Curiosities Challenges - this week it's "perfect distress". I enjoy this technique, but you lose so much in photographing it, so I've added a close-up of the shimmery effect - notice the lovely blue fingers holding the tag! Have you really, truly done a Tim Holtz inspired technique if you don't end up with inky fingers?
Image of the two girls bundled up for a snowy day is from Paper Whimsy.

Very nice! And yes, inky fingers are required! LOL!
Its beautiful Penny and love the fingers as well...aaah now where have I seen that shade of blue before......mmmmm Annette x
Hey, my fingers look exactly like that (excpet my nails aren't that nice)! It's the blue ink syndrome!
Your tag is absolutely darling, Penny! Those little girls are so incredibly cute, and do not look one bit happy about having to be out in the cold! Your perfectly distressed background is GORGEOUS, and the thoughtful little details make it even more wonderful. Those rhinestones are so tiny and cute!
Gorgeous work, sweet lady!
LOL at your fingers. Like me, a manicure would be wasted on you!! The children don't look very happy to be out in the snow! Beautiful vintage tag. Lynne x
