The 12 Tags of Christmas (part 2)

More of my tags from the 12 Tags of Christmas - these are days 4,5 and 6.

Day 4: This was a fun one to make! I loved the little house charm made with memory glass and a memory frame. I used the 1x3 size in order to fit the metal corner used as a roof. I didn't have any of the memory capsules so I used a piece of plastic packaging - one side was slightly open so I just had to be careful while the glossy accents dried that I didn't pour out the glitter, but once in the frame, the frame edge covered the gap. I also really liked creating the collage-look background with various stamps - great vintage look. Stamps: Oxford Impressions, Tin Can Mail, and Sugar Lump Studios.

Day 5: I just loved his idea to use fragment charms for Christmas balls! That little bit of foil tape for the top just makes it perfect. I loved this idea so much I used it in the RSS Christmas banner a couple posts back. Stamps: Stampers Anonymous, Penny Black, Inkadinkado.

Day 6: This tag allowed me to try out the new St. Nicholas stamps from Oxford Impressions. Such a great Santa stamp in that set! I also really liked the paint resist with the flourish - have used that technique many times. I did find that when you overstamp the snowflakes in distress ink it's really important to just blot the ink from the paint rather than lightly rub - it will smear with rubbing. Stamps: Oxford Impressions and Stampers Anonymous.
