CC2C week 10

Somehow we've arrived at week 10 already at Linda's CC2 Challenge - wow!  This week's challenge is sponsored by The Funkie Junkie's Boutique and uses page 37 of Tim's book - "tissue wrap flowers".  The tissue wrap is quite durable compared to regular tissue paper and makes these flowers easy to keep fiddling with until you get the look you want.  I sprayed my tissue wrap with different colors of Dylusions sprays creating flowers that are so vibrant.

Just had to share my tag base because I'm in love with the texture!!!!!!!!

I started with drywall tape on my tag, then added flexible modeling paste through a Crafter's Workshop text stencil.  Once dry, I painted a coat of light blue acrylic paint and then added sprays of Dylusions and Radiant Rain Mist with a little extra spritz to get them to run and create drips.  I thought these made terrific stems for my flowers.

Hello Penny
I am in love with your Bg too....
My first response when I viewed the Tag was 'STUNNING', the electric Blue sends a tingle down your spine with all it's energy. Brilliant Blues add a whole new dimension, it is dynamic and dramatic, an engaging colour expressing exhilaration. It is warm and playful as it carries an undertone of Purple,it is rich and unique and so very pleasing to the eye. And you have complimented this wonderfully by your most glorious tissue flowers. Your texture over the whole Tag is absolute.
Smiles:)
Sue

I love your background too Penny. Dry-wall tape?-What a great idea! We have about 10 rolls laying around the basement. Gonna snag me one and try that out too.I love your tag-the colors are fantastic and I agree- the background is great.
So right now I am signed up for Julie's Sunday class. I am thinking about Saturday-but it is also the weekend my daughter moves back to college and I'm not sure what her actual move in day is.
Have a great day.

Terrific texture. I like drywall tape myself, so useful. Those drips create added interest as well.
A fabulous tag.
