Regency England Shadowbox

Here's a simple small shadowbox that I created using stamps from the Jane Austen set from Oxford Impressions. The dancing people fit perfectly in the opening with just a tiny bit of overlap to be able to strategically place adhesive! The frame with attached wooden ornament was whitewashed with gesso and stamped using black archival ink along the bottom.

Love the shadow box & the book below looks exciting. I am planning to make an art journal next year. Ihave made random pages & stuck them down in a scrapbook & now I feel ready to spread my wings.

Penny,
Wonderful, imaginative use of the OI stamps.
I like the fact you only used washes of Gesso and didn't paint the canvas letting the dancers take centre stage.
