"Smitten" class by Nancy Maxwell James

Sometimes when you need a little inspiration, an online class is great fun. If you're not familiar with Nancy Maxwell James of Sugar Lump Studios you should check out her blog HERE. She's conducting an online class until Valentine's Day with great projects to inspire your creativity. I'm sharing my tag from the class. I loved that I had a page from an old hymnal of Love Lifted Me to combine with the butterflies and the sentiment I created - I love it when all the parts of a collage just click. Image: Paper Whimsy.

Feel free to follow the link above to Nancy's blog for more information about her class. Nancy lives in Michigan close to the college that my school, Ohio State, rivals. But since collage football season is over, and Ohio State beat Michigan, Nancy and I can be friends again :-) Love you, Nancy!

I really like the looks of this "penny for your Thoughts" piece. The collage elements come together so wonderfully. I love those Paper Whimsy images, they really are great. At any rate, really beautiful work as usual Nancy.

Penny, I really like the cool blue with the warm orange. That color combination 'speaks' to me:) It is so serendipitous when all the elements come together just so, isn't it?
