CC2C week 14

I put together this tag (again with flowers!) to be able to join in on week 14 of the Compendium of Curiosities Vol. 2 Challenge sponsored by the Funkie Junkie Boutique where this week's  featured technique is Gilded Kraft Glassine on page 39 of Tim's book.  The technique creates a terrific textured paper that I cut into petal shapes and made flowers to add to my doodled swirl.  I have to admit though, when I first put them onto the tag, I think it looked more like a bunch of eggplants hanging on a vine - eek!!  So I added some white pen accents and then had a scrap of 7Gypsies Life tissue paper already collaged onto canvas paper sitting in a pile on my table that I could cut up and add to the petals.  I love the fun random phrases of the paper.

Here are the close-ups.  I've been using lots of textured backgrounds for my tags lately, but I also like having the texture as an embellishment on a tag simply sprayed with Dylusions colors.
