"Industrial Grunge" is the technique for the 20th Compendium of Curiosities Challenge. I thought I'd do a steampunk piece - it seemed like a good fit for the pieces created by this technique - so good and grungy! Image: Collage Visions, Stamps: Oxford Impressions
This is very cool!! The technique worked perfectly for you.

ReplyDeleteHello, sweet Penny! Once again, you've taken the CCC technique and created a masterpiece with it! Your Industrially grungy gears are fabulous, and you're so right-- this technique is a perfect fit for the steampunk look. I love the laying in this piece, and the image of the man is great-- he looks like a visionary, imagining the amazing inventions in his future. Great job-- as always!!!
ReplyDeleteAs usual, a great collage, Penny:) I love that rust color. The overall composition such a tribute to the masculine, the muscles behind the gears. I actually made something myself last night with gears! Put behind an image of the Eiffel Tower. Gears seem synomous with power and strength, something that little can move something so huge. I wish the gears of my brain worked better!ha!
